TThe F-150 has six engine options, while the Silverado only offers four. From the most basic to the most powerful engine, the Ford F-150 is in sight with a 3.3-liter V-6 that produces 290 horsepower and 265 pound-feet of torque, almost tied with the Chevy Silverado 1500, which comes standard with a 2.7-liter turbo four-cylinder that produces 310 horsepower and 420 pound-feet of torque. The Ford F-150 makes a winning comeback with not only more engine options than the Chevrolet Silverado, but also including a hybrid version that produces 430 horsepower and 570 pound-feet of torque that takes lead in power and effeciency, compared to the Silverado's inline-six turbodiesel engine that only produces 277 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque.




Personalization and Interior

When it comes to the interior and comfortability of both of these two new trucks, Ford's F-150 beats Chevy's Silverado 1500. Starting with the cloth upholstery compared to the vinyl in the Chevrolet, you'll feel right at home wherever you travel. With about the same amount of interior capacity, the F-150 leads in front and rear shoulder room, as well as rear head and leg room.

The Ford F-150 also has 14 exterior and three interior color options, whereas the Silverado only has 8 and two possibilities when it comes to customizing your new truck.
