The 2022 Ford Ranger is powered by a 2.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 270 horsepower. This engine is capable of either rear- or four-wheel drive. A 330-horsepower 2.7-liter twin-turbocharged V-6 engine is also expected. The 2022 Chevy Colorado, on the other hand, comes with a 181-horsepower 2.5-liter four-cylinder or a 308-horsepower 3.6-liter V-6.

Finally, the Colorado has a respectable towing capacity of 3,500-7,000 pounds. The Ranger can tow a maximum of 7,500 pounds.
