You will not want to miss all the excitement!

Food and Fun for the Whole Family!

Year after year Larned residents and visitors alike come together to relax, make memories, and celebrate our historical sense of community. The weekend’s endeavors kick off downtown on Friday with “dragging the gut” at 4 pm, followed by the Larned city pool opening and hamburger feed. Live events continue late into the evening and start back up bright and early Saturday morning with our mouthwatering biscuits and gravy feed, to get the whole family prepared for even more excitement ahead. Kids will be able to play and explore to their heart’s content throughout the day, where they can interact with animals at the petting zoo or soar to new heights in the inflatable bouncy house. You can expect food vendors like Bahama Mama’s shaved ice, Harvest Nutrition’s healthy snacks, and beverages, and Silvey Concession’s loaded fries, not to mention our mouthwatering corn dogs and chicken n waffles. And don’t forget to pick up a few unique gifts throughout the day, from Larned State Hospital Wood Crafters’ handcrafted wooden items, Eileen Thompson’s handmade sewn pieces, Meyer Crafts, and many more!
