Performance and Power
The performance of the 2022 Ford Ranger showcases a powerful diesel engine beneath its hood. Ford will release the truck with an EcoBoost engine, which is used in several F-line trucks. Powered by a turbocharged 2.3-liter 4-cylinder which will produce 310 pound-feet of torque and 270 horsepower.
Off-Roading Features
Just about every truck in the Ford lineup is available with four-wheel drive, offering improved traction and better control on rough terrain and slick roads. The Ranger will be available with a 4×4 package, which includes skid and bash plates to protect the undercarriage from any damage, a status screen to monitor the roll and pitch of the truck, and all-terrain tires with an aggressive tread pattern to better grip the road.
Driver-Assist Technologies
The F-150, F-250, and F-350 are available with several driver-assist features, offering a safer ride. The 2022 Ranger will also be available with these additions, including blind spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, and lane-keep assist.
